Type: Permanent, Full-time
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00

Position Overview
- Review all assigned projects to ensure the scope of work from the client is completely understood, follow up with all stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, and answer any pertinent questions if required.
- Determine all project stakeholders, and collect and record role and contact information details
- Conduct site visits to collect data required to successfully complete assigned projects. This includes but not limited to:
- Civil Survey of above ground utilities and structures using Trimble GPS units
- Rodding and locating existing underground conduits
- Performing site visits in client businesses to gather information to complete Inside Plant (ISP) builds as per the scope of work of the project
- Site meetings with clients and developers as required
- Travel as required
- Prepare and layout of civil structure design including, but not limited to: New Development, Upgrades, Expansion, and Forced Relocations
- Perform detailed design of telecommunications underground infrastructure
- Review designs to ensure that they capture the entire scope of work being asked by the clients
- Prepare and submit various types of permits and applications required for a project including, but not limited to:
- Underground Infrastructure
- Civil Permits
- Municipal Road Use Permits (Other types as required)
- Maintain copies of all project communications
- Record all information and file documents for all projects to the established standards
- Ensure schedule deadlines are adhered to and project deliverables are maintained
- Follow company standards and procedures related to Health & Safety while performing assigned job duties
- Other duties as assigned or required
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently with limited supervision
- Experience with AutoCAD, Office 360 and PDF Writers
- Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment requirements
- Remote role with travel to site as required.
Assets
- Experience working within HFC Broadband Plant, Fibre to the Premise (FTTP), traditional cable and telephony design
- Working knowledge of FTTP or CATV standards and architectures
- Ability to create telecom documents, drawings, specifications.
- Understanding of current aerial and underground construction practices and methodology
- Familiarity with survey tools such as the IKE GPS or Trimble
- AutoCAD experience
- Spatial Net experience
- Graduated from a Technical and or Engineering program or similar such as Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering
- Experience using a project management system (such as QuickBase) which are driven by Task assignments and tracking of project elements

Compensation
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
